I would’ve never associated a whale watching tour with New York City. Pretty much everyone else I’ve talked to – even long-time residents of the Big Apple – had no clue a whale watching tour in New York City was a thing. Well, it is. My wife and I had a fabulous time traveling past…
Hamilton, Missouri may be small, but it’s become a bucket‑list destination for quilters around the world thanks to the Missouri Star Quilt Co. When my wife Ruth and I visited, we quickly realized why people call it Quilt Town USA. Every block is lined with colorful storefronts, themed quilt shops, and friendly staff who genuinely…
Being a native of Utah, I don’t know a lot about the history of Tennessee. I know it’s also known as Music City, USA. President Andrew Jackson is a Tennessee native. But that’s about where my knowledge stopped. At least that’s what it was before I spent some time at the Tennessee State Musuem in…

But we found a hidden gem in the plains of Nebraska. Tanking involves climbing into a large, round metal tub and floating down a river. So we…
I love hands-on science museums. There’s something fun about challenging your mind to try new things. The Bakken Museum was a favorite stop for my son and I during our visit to Minneapolis. We spent the most time in the first exhibit area we came to. There were so many ways to engage in science-related…
